No Nay Never Colt Records Smart Maiden Win
Cash Out (3c No Nay Never - Cash In The Hand, by Exchange Rate) gained compensation for his recent narrow defeat when justifying favouritism in Friday’s mile maiden at Dundalk.
Joseph O’Brien’s charge showed signs of inexperience a week prior, when beaten a short head by previous winner Miami Thunder over course and distance. Reunited with Dylan Browne McMonagle on Friday, the bay raced prominently throughout and was travelling best of the field when producing a challenge two furlongs from home. Ridden to lead entering the final furlong, he ran on well to win by a length and a half.
“Cash Out is maturing all the time,” assistant trainer Brendan Powell said after the race. “Dylan said he settled lovely and was always going to win. He said he could be a horse that could get black-type.”
Cash Out is owned by R Scarborough and was bred by Woodnook Farm.
