No Nay Never Colt Wins Maiden Impressively
Science (2c No Nay Never - Princess Desire, by Danehill) built on earlier promise to run out an impressive winner of the six furlong maiden at Catterick on Wednesday.
Beaten just a short head on debut in June, the Archie Watson-trained colt next ran on the Coventry Stakes and was unsurprisingly sent off favourite on Wednesday. Hollie Doyle rode the bay to make all, racing two lengths clear with two furlongs to go and was ridden clear to score by four lengths and three quarters.
Owned by Qatar Racing and bred by Rockhart Trading, Science was bought by David Redvers as a yearling for 170,000gns. From the third crop of No Nay Never, he is a half-brother to two Stakes horses.
