Little Big Bear (No Nay Never) Impresses At Naas

No Nay Never Juvenile Ticks All The Boxes

Little Big Bear (2c No Nay Never - Adventure Seeker, by Bering) became the latest winner from No Nay Never’s exciting crop of two-year-olds when justifying favouritism with ease at Naas.

Narrowly denied on debut last month, Aidan O’Brien’s charge was sent off favourite for Saturday’s five furlong maiden and was ridden to track the leaders by Seamie Heffernan. Pushed to leader upon entering the final furlong, he quickened clear to score by three lengths, with another three lengths and three quarters back to the third.

“He's a big colt with loads of pace,” Heffernan later commented. “He was the class horse of the race and he finished well. He ticks all the boxes.”

Owned by Coolmore partners and Westerberg, Little Big Bear was bred by Camas Park Stud and Summerhill. The €320,000 yearling purchase hails from No Nay Never’s crop bred off the back of his leading first season sire title, which was highlighted by unbeaten two-year-old Ten Sovereigns.
