No Nay Never Newcomer Justifies Favouritism
Fanatic (3c No Nay Never – High Quality, by Invincible Spirit) justified strong market support to make a winning debut at Chantilly on Thursday afternoon.
Christophe Ferland’s representative was sent off favourite for the nine and a half furlong maiden and raced in mid-division for much of the way under Enzo Corallo. Quickening as they turned for home, he was pushed along to lead approaching the final furlong and kept on well to score by two and a half lengths.
Owned and bred by the Wertheimer family, Fanatic is a half-brother to winning stablemate Adeliade (Australia). Their dam has a yearling full-brother to Fanatic.
