Nullifier Becomes No Nay Nevers 29th Juvenile Winner Of The 2019 Season

No Nay Never Sires 29th Juvenile Winner Of The Season

Nullifier (2c No Nay Never - Queen Grace, by Choisir) became No Nay Never’s 29th juvenile winner of the season when taking the five furlong maiden at Navan on Wednesday.

The Ger Lyons-trained colt made a promising debut last month and followed up with a fine third on his next start, both runs coming over six furlongs. Sent off favourite on his drop down in trip, the bay was ridden close to the pace by Colin Keane and improved to lead approaching the final furlong. Running on well, he gained a winning margin of two lengths.

Ger Lyons commented after the race, “He's a typical No Nay Never, handles the ground and is a good strong colt. We'll put him away until next year and hope he grows into a horse.”

Owned by Lynne Lyons, Sean Jones and David Spratt, Nullifier was bred by Sinead Maher and comes from the family of Paris House.
