Promising Magna Grecia Filly Scores On Second Start

Indication Spirit (2f Magna Grecia - Guessing, by Kingmambo) built on last month’s promising debut to justify favouritism in Wednesday’s five furlong maiden at Musselburgh.

Trained by Karl Burke for Nick Bradley Racing, the daughter of Magna Grecia finished second to a previous winner at Hamilton last month, where she had another previous winner behind her. Partnered by Clifford Lee on Wednesday, she raced prominently throughout and was ridden to lead a furlong from home. Keeping on well, she led by three parts of a length on the line.

Bred by Barronstown Stud, Indication Spirit continues a promising start at stud by Magna Grecia, whose first crop also includes recent Listed winner Myconian (Magna Grecia).
