Promising No Nay Never Filly Goes One Better
Ten Dimes (3f No Nay Never – Cushion, by Galileo) shaped like there’s more to come when winning the fillies’ maiden at Newcastle on Tuesday evening.
Trained by John and Thady Gosden for Bobby Flay, the 600,000gns yearling purchase finished a close second on debut in November. She was sent off favourite on her second start and was ridden to make all as she stepped up to a mile under Robert Havlin. Quickening with over two furlongs left to race, she showed signs of inexperience approaching the final furlong, but kept on well to win by a length and a half. Radiant Beauty (Churchill) completed a 1-2 for Coolmore sires.
The daughter of No Nay Never was bred by Floors Stud and Coolmore Stud out of Grade 3 performer Cushion (Galileo).
