Ruler Of The World’s brother looks Classic prospect

Norway (2c Galileo-Love Me True, by Kingmambo) - a brother to Derby hero and Coolmore sire Ruler Of The World - looked a 2019 Classic prospect when scoring at Newmarket on Saturday.

Seamus Heffernan partnered the Galileo colt to win the 10-furlong Listed Zetland Stakes by a length and he immediately received quotes for next year’s G1 Derby from bookmakers.

“I’m delighted with him. That was a lovely experience for him. He stays well and the last day he won well and galloped to the line. He is a beautifully bred horse,” said trainer Aidan O’Brien, who added that the G1 Criterium de Saint-Cloud could be a possible next start.

“He is a lovely big horse and he doesn’t have to go there as he has had that experience coming here. It’s a possibility though as he is in it. He is a lovely horse as he is a brother to Ruler Of The World and half-brother to Duke Of Marmalade.”
