U S Navy Flag’s sole offering at the Tattersalls Ireland Goresbridge Breeze-Up Sale proved a stand-out, bringing a winning bid of €100,000 from Meah Lloyd Bloodstock.

Tradewinds Stud’s successful pinhook was bought on behalf of the Sarkar family, who are sending the filly into training with Henry Spiller.

U S Navy Flag was crowned European Champion Two-Year-Old following back-to-back Group 1 wins in the Dewhurst and Middle Park Stakes and his first runners appear to have inherited their sire’s precocity. None more so than Wesley Ward’s hugely impressive newcomer Love Reigns (U S Navy Flag), who drew over nine lengths clear at Keeneland and, in turn, earned herself a trip to Royal Ascot.

Other notable performances include smart five furlong winner Kaasib (U S Navy Flag) and debut scorer Ocean Vision (U S Navy Flag), who returns in the Group 3 Marble Hill Stakes.
