No Nay Never Paddock

Six Figure Sales Aplenty For No Nay Never

Another terrific season on the track saw No Nay Never’s progeny command high prices at the Goffs Orby Sale, with eight yearlings selling for €200,000 or more.

Mark McStay’s Avenue Bloodstock secured No Nay Never’s most expensive offering, a filly sold by Glenvale Stud for €400,000. “She’s as nice as there is on the grounds here,” said McStay. “I thought the price was probably around right because the sire is having a phenomenal year and she has a very good pedigree, so what’s not to like? There was plenty of competition so I’m delighted to get her.”

Later acting on behalf of Jason Taylor Equine and Medallion Racing, McStay went to €260,000 for Barronstown Stud’s No Nay Never filly out of the Group 1 placed Galileo mare Gile Na Greine.

Camas Park Stud enjoyed terrific results with No Nay Never over the two days, beginning with Jacob West’s €385,000 purchase on behalf of Robert and Lawana Low. Jason Kelly later stretched to €300,000 for a No Nay Never half-sister to Group-placed juvenile Chandigah (Churchill), who he purchased on behalf of Bond Thoroughbreds.

MV Magnier purchased three colts by No Nay Never, led by Camas Park Stud’s sharp bay for €300,000.
