Smart Debut Winner By Arizona
Super Mirage (2c Arizona – Loch Mirage, by Elusive City) shaped like a potentially smart prospect when making a winning debut in Saturday’s mile maiden at Bath.
The Richard Hughes-trained newcomer raced prominently under George Rooke and was pushed along to lead approaching the final furlong. The bay showed signs of inexperience before running on well to score by two lengths.
Owned by Jaber Abdullah and bred by PF Headon, Super Mirage hails from the first crop of Arizona.
