Tuileries Canterbury 750

So You Think Filly Impressive at Canterbury

Promising filly Tuileries (3f So You Think x Hediard, by Bernardini) has shown plenty at the trials and finally put it all together on a race day to bolt in at Canterbury on Friday night at her second start.

Trained by Peter Snowden, Tuileries was sixth at her first run back in April, but a last start trial win at Hawkesbury saw her sent out favourite of the 1250m three year-old maiden with Tim Clark to ride.

She settled off the pace and produced a scintillating turn of foot to charge away and win by three lengths.

A $360,000 Magic Millions purchase for Snowden Racing/William Johnson Bloodstock from the Bhima Thoroughbreds draft, Tuileries runs for a syndicate that includes her breeder Jonathan Munz’s Pinecliff Racing.

She is the second winner from Hediard, a winning half-sister by Bernardini (USA) to stakes-winners Exocet and Ready for Victory from the family of Group I winning juvenile Meurice.

Hediard has another yearling filly by So You Think and has foaled this spring producing a filly by Justify.
