Speedy Filly From First Crop Of Arizona Sells For €100,000
A filly from the first crop of Arizona proved popular at the Tattersalls Ireland Breeze-Up Sale, where she was knocked down to Joseph Burke for €100,000.
The sale marked a terrific result for consignor Diego Dias, who had bought the filly as a yearling with Rodrigo Goncalves. Diego Dias has previously enjoyed success with the Scat Daddy sire line, having trained Mansa Musa (Ten Sovereigns) to finish second in the Group 3 Round Tower Stakes last season.
His latest success story was bred by Minch Bloodstock out of a half-sister to Raven’s Pass, with the dam having a yearling filly by Sioux Nation.
