Steph wins Guineas trial for Zoffany
The Ger Lyons-trained Who’s Steph (3f Zoffany-Llew Law, by Verglas) came out best in a classy 13-strong renewal of the G3 Irish 1,000 Guineas Trial at Leopardstown.
The Zoffany filly rounded off her juvenile campaign with an easy maiden win at Naas and she looks to have a bright future ahead of her following this easy victory.
"She did that well and went through the ground,” said Lyons. "You'd have to be impressed with her and her temperament is to die for. She does everything I want at home.
"We'll go home, sit down and make a plan. The dream is still alive at the moment but we don't have big early-closing entries with her.”
Who’s Steph, who runs for owner Sean Jones, was bred by Patrick Headon.
