Stylish comeback from Galileo’s daughter Romantica
Blue-blood Romantica (4f Galileo-Banks Hill, by Danehill) looks set for an exciting season after winning the G3 Prix Allez France at Chantilly on Monday on her seasonal return.
The Juddmonte home-bred, trained by Andre Fabre, is a Galileo daughter of the top-class Banks Hill, who is out of the legendary broodmare Hasili.
Despite conceding 8lb to the runner-up Harem Lady at Chantilly, Romantica took the 10-furlong contest comfortably by half a length under Maxime Guyon, who predicts a big year for the filly.

“To accelerate like that carrying 58 kilos and giving weight away was a really good performance. She’s still improving and I have no doubt she is a Group 1 filly of the future.” Guyon told racingpost.com
