Ten Sovereigns Filly Doubles Stakes Tally
Candid Smile (2f Ten Sovereigns – Rippling Waters, by Areion) gained a second Stakes success in the space of three weeks when justifying favouritism in Sunday’s Listed Premio Eupili at San Siro.
The Endo Botti-trained filly won a Listed race over the same trip of six furlongs last time out and was partnered by Alessio Satta once again at the weekend. She broke smartly and raced prominently throughout, quickening inside the final furlong to win by a short neck.
Owned by Fabrizio Cameli, the dual Stakes winner was bred by Siobhain O’Rahilly and Padraig O’Rahilly. The second crop daughter of Ten Sovereigns is the best performer to date out of Rippling Waters, who has a yearling and foal by Australia.
