The Gurkha Colt Records Easy Back To Back Wins
Sanitiser (2c The Gurkha - Spicy Dal, by Dalakhani) made light of a penalty when justifying favouritism in Wednesday’s seven furlong novice stakes at Chelmsford.
The bay chased the leader under Cieren Fallon and was ridden to lead approaching the final furlong, keeping on well inside the final furlong to win by two and a quarter lengths.
Trained by Paul and Oliver Cole, Sanitiser was building on a smart win of second start last month. From the second crop of top-class three-year-old The Gurkha, he was bred by Ben and Martyn Arbib out of their homebred Stakes performer Spicy Dal.
