Well-Related Wootton Bassett Colt Scores In Good Style

Dash Dizzy (2c Wootton Bassett – Dream The Blues, by Oasis Dream) built on a promising debut to win his second start in good style on Wednesday evening.

The Charlie Johnston-trained colt finished third last month and remained over the six furlong trip at Kempton. Leading from the early stages under Silvestre de Sousa, the bay went clear from two furlongs out and kept on well to beat the favourite by two and a quarter lengths. The front pair finished five and a half lengths clear of the remainder.

Dash Dizzy is owned by Nurlan Bizakov and was bred by Fethard Bloodstock. The son of Wootton Bassett is a half-brother to Group 1 winner and sire Sioux Nation (Scat Daddy).
