Well-Related Wootton Bassett Filly All Heart On Debut

Angeal (2f Wootton Bassett – Curvy, by Galileo) produced a game performance to justify favouritism in the two-year-old fillies’ maiden at Saint-Cloud on Monday.

The Christopher Head-trained newcomer raced prominently throughout the six furlong contest and was ridden when challenged approaching the two furlong pole. Digging deep under Aurelien Lemaitre, she prevailed by a neck on the line.

Bred by Coolmore Stud, the daughter of Wootton Bassett is owned by Christophe Brun, Ecurie Normandy Spirit and Gerard Larrieu.
