Wootton Bassett Filly Records Back-To-Back Wins

Tuesday saw Saint Cloud maiden winner Wooturn (3f Wootton Bassett - Turning For Home, by Spinning World) follow up in a Class 2 contest at Bordeaux.

Second on debut last month, the Henri-Alex Pantall-trained filly went one better earlier this month and faced seven fellow winners on her third start. She chased the clear leader under Julien Guillochon, narrowing the gap upon entering the straight and was pushed to lead approaching the final furlong. Driven out, she scored by a length comfortably.

The daughter of Wootton Bassett was bred by owner Derek Clee out of Listed winner Turning For Home.
