Zoffany Filly Delivers On Debut
Zo Kandi (2f Zoffany – Sri Kandi, by Pivotal) justified strong market support on debut to take the seven furlong fillies’ maiden at Rome on Tuesday.
Sent off favourite under Pasquale Borrelli, the Giovanni Moccia-trained filly obliged by a length and a quarter from Arizona Dream, while Sense Of Emperor (Holy Roman Emperor) took third.
The daughter of Zoffany is owned by Corradi di Pasquale and was bred by the El Catorce Partnership out of a winning half-sister to top-class two-year-old Pearl Of Love (Peintre Celebre).
