Another smart debutant for Yeats
Champion jockey Richard Johnson partnered newcomer Who’s My Jockey (Yeats-Scandisk, by Kenmare) to victory in a bumper at Market Rasen on Sunday.
Trained by Philip Hobbs for Paul and Clare Rooney, the Yeats gelding - a €60,000 store purchase - won what looked a decent race.
“When we got to the front I thought I'd win, but Who's My Jockey had never been on a racecourse before and just idled. When he was joined he stuck his neck out. We quite like him and hopefully he's a nice horse for the future,” Johnson told the Racing Post.
