Killer Clown and Carry On The Magic drew clear from the field along the back straight, with the eventual winner delivering his challenge after the second last fence under Barry O’Neill. The front pair finished ten lengths clear of the third horse.

Bred by Kevin Cullen out of a Milan mare, Killer Clown was bought by owners Milestone Bloodstock Ltd for €40,000 at the Goffs Land Rover Sale.
