Bella Bliss (Getaway) Wins The Novices Hurdle At Cartmel

Getaway Mare Eases Clear In Novice Hurdle

Bella Bliss (5m Getaway - Izabelle Amie, by Croco Rouge) proved a class above her rivals in Tuesday’s Novice Hurdle at Cartmel.

The John McConnell-trained mare ran out an easy winner of her maiden hurdle earlier this month and was sent off favourite as she stepped up to two miles and six furlongs. The bay raced prominently throughout under James Bowen and led after the second last, before drawing clear to win by 14 lengths with ease.

Bella Bliss is owned by Claire Wylie and was bred by William Mangan.
