Getaway sells for £190,000

Grey Getaway (4g Getaway-Miss Greylands, by Alflora) is set to join multiple champion trainer Paul Nicholls after jointly topping the Tattersalls Ireland Sale at Cheltenham racecourse on Friday evening.

Nicholls struck with a successful bid of £190,000 for the Getaway relative of Cheltenham Gold Cup winner See More Business who had finished runner-up in a point-to-point at Dromahane the previous Sunday.

“He’s just a really nice type, a horse for the future and a lovely addition to the yard. He’s come from a proper Gold Cup family,” said Nicholls.

Grey Getaway was bred by Edelle Logan.
