Mahler Mare Bolts Up On Stable Debut

Nextdoortoalice (5m Mahler - Lady Zephyr, by Toulon) made an impressive start for new connections when drawing ten lengths clear in the Mares’ Novices Hurdle at Doncaster on Saturday.

The daughter of Mahler was placed on her last two starts for Declan Queally and was sent off second favourite on her first start for Alex Hales. Ridden to make all by Harry Bannister, the bay went clear approaching the final fence and won with ease.

Bred by Noel Doyle, Nextdoortoalice is a full-sister to four-year-old maiden winner Frontier General (Mahler).
