Mahler Newcomer Strikes Late At Broughshane

Kinbara (4g Mahler - Dali’s Theatre, by Lomitas) produced a late challenge to make a winning debut in Saturday’s four-year-old maiden at Broughshane.

Held up at the back of the field by owner Ben Crawford, the son of Mahler was asked to quicken from three out and improved behind the leaders by the second last. Keeping on well on the run-in, he led close home to score by half a length.

The Stuart Crawford-trained bay was bred by Ms T Hassett.
