Mullins Hoping For Further Success With Walk In The Park

Fresh from winning the Grade 1 Punchestown Champion bumper with Facile Vega (Walk In The Park), Willie Mullins went to €160,000 for another bright star by the sire in Foreverwalking (4g Walk In The Park - Until Forever, by Robin Des Champs).

Harold Kirk co-signed for the bay, who was offered by Pat Doyle’s Suirview Stables as Lot 11 of the Goffs Punchestown Sale. The son of Walk In The Park impressed on debut earlier this month, when landing a four-year-old maiden at Quakerstown, where the first two drew 20 lengths clear of the third.

That maiden in particular has proven fruitful for Mullins, who trained previous winners Bacardys and Next Destination to each win two Grade 1 hurdles.
