Promising Son Of Mahler Delivers Under Rules
Tribal Glory (5g Mahler - Emily’s Princess, by Flemensfirth) built on a promising rules debut to justify even-money favouritism in Tuesday’s bumper at Worcester.
The son of Mahler joined the Fergal O’Brien team after making a winning start between the flags for Ian McCarthy, and finished a close second on stable debut over Tuesday’s course and distance. Reunited with Ben Sutton, the chesnut led from flag-fall and was ridden approaching the final furlong. Running on well, he led by a length and three quarters on the line.
Owned by N Sutton, Tribal Glory was bred by Thomas Norris. The son of Mahler is a full-brother to Wicked Thoughts (Mahler), who sold for £135,000 after winning his sole start for Tom Ellis.
