Promising Son Of Mahler Leaps To Maiden Victory
Indian Louis (5g Mahler - Indian Fairy, by Indian Danehill) produced a fine round of jumping to land the Five-Year-Old Geldings Maiden at Aghabullogue on Sunday.
James Hannon rode the Donal Barry-trained bay to make all the running and was travelling best of the field at the final fence. Keeping on well on the run-in, he led by three and a half lengths on the line.
Indian Louis is owned by Sean Connors and was bred by Martin Cullinane. The promising son of Mahler hails from the family of Grade 1 performer Fair Along.
