The Colin Bowe-trained Ballabawn (4g Soldier Of Fortune - Coolfree, by Westerner) is now sales-bound after getting off the mark at Ballindenisk on Sunday.

Third on his only previous start, the bay was one of ten to line up for the four-year-old maiden and was ridden to make all by James Kenny. Travelling well approaching the final fence, he kept on well to win by two and a half lengths.

The Soldier of Fortune gelding was bred by John J.M. Power out of a homebred half-sister to Grade 2 winner Falcon Crest (Milan).
