Son Of Getaway Completes Impressive Hat-Trick

Way Out (6g Getaway - Send To War, by Sendawar) completed a hat-trick of wins when making an impressive return of action in Tuesday’s Novices’ Hurdle at Newton Abbot.

The son of Getaway joined Syd Hosie after winning a Lingstown maiden for Jonathan Fogarty and got off the mark under rules when winning a maiden hurdle by 15 lengths. An authoritative winner next time out, he was sent off favourite following a four month absence and made all of the running under Micheal Nolan. Ridden approaching the second last, he drew further clear on the run-in to score by ten lengths.

Bred by Eamon Bracken, the progressive bay carried the colours of Acorn Builders Dorset Ltd for the first time on Tuesday.
