Son Of Getaway Draws Clear On Rules Debut
Judicial Review (4g Getaway - Chartani, by King’s Theatre) made an impressive start under rules when running out a clear winner of Friday’s bumper at Sedgefield.
The son of Getaway joined the James Moffatt yard after finishing a close second in a four-year-old maiden at Dromahane for PJ Crowley, and was sent off favourite on his first start for new connections. Charlotte Jones positioned the chesnut towards the back of the field and began to make headway before halfway. In front before the two furlong marker, he was ridden clear inside the final furlong and went on to score by a comfortable by eight lengths.
Judicial Review was bred by Alan Broderick and is a half-brother to black-type performer Get Out The Gate (Mahler).
