Son Of Kingston Hill Wins Bumper On Debut
Hear Me Out (3g Kingston Hill - Waha, by Oasis Dream) justified strong market support on debut to win Saturday’s three-year-old bumper at Market Rasen.
A 40,000gns yearling purchase, the first crop son of Kingston Hill was sent off favourite for the mile and five furlong contest. Brian Hughes rode the bay in a prominent position, improving to lead after four furlongs and was ridden approaching the final furlong. Keeping on well, Hear Me Out scored by three and a quarter lengths.
Trained by Keith Dalgleish for Paul and Clare Rooney, Hear Me Out was bred by the Windy Farm Syndicate out of a half-sister to multiple Group winner Big Duke. He hails from the first crop of Racing Post Trophy and St Leger victor Kingston Hill.
