Son Of Mahler A Smart Debut Winner At Ballindenisk
Shanagh Bob (4g Mahler - Exit Bob, by Exit To Nowhere) shaped like a smart prospect when making a winning debut in the four-year-old geldings maiden at Ballindenisk on Sunday.
Chris O’Donovan took the ride aboard the newcomer, who is owned and trained by his father John O’Donovan. He made most of the running in a field of 15 and led by three lengths at the second last. Keeping on well on the run-in, the son of Mahler won by three and a half lengths with ease.
The sales ring now beckons for Shanagh Bob, who was bred by Aaron Doocey.
