Abuffalosoldier (5g Mahler - Adderstonlee, by Presenting) produced a game performance to win on his hurdle debut at Wincanton on Wednesday.

Third on debut and successful in a bumper next time out, Warren Greatrex’s representative stepped up to two and a half miles at Wincanton and was ridden to lead by Henry Brooke. Headed approaching the pentultimate flight, he was ridden to regain the lead on the run-in and kept on well to win by three parts of a length. The front pair drew 17 lengths clear of the field.
