Son Of Mahler Completes Hat Trick In Fine Style

Fringill Dike (5g Mahler - Credo Star, by Presenting) made all to complete an impressive hat-trick of wins at Hexham on Friday.

Trained by Jedd O’Keeffe for Caron and Paul Chapman, the son of Mahler won his final two starts last season in good style and was sent off favourite to continue his winning run on return. He looked the likely winner approaching the final flight and drew clear on the run-in to score by 16 lengths.

Bred by Cathal Ennis, Fringill Dike also won a bumper on debut over course and distance as a four-year-old. His half-brother by Walk In The Park sold for €75,000 at last year’s store sales.
