Henry Brown Becomes The Latest Winner By Mahler

Son Of Mahler Makes Winning Debut

Henry Brown (4g Mahler - Blackeyedsue, by Sendawar) maintained Noel Meade’s excellent run of form when making a winning debut in the bumper at Fairyhouse on Saturday.

One of 11 to line up for the two mile contest, he was ridden towards the back of the field by Mark O’Hare, improving as he travelled well three furlongs from home. Reacting well to pressure, he went second entering the final furlong and ran on well to lead inside the final furlong, beating the favourite by two and a half lengths, with a further six lengths back to the third horse.

Owned and trained by Noel Meade, Henry Brown was bred by David Moran out of a half-sister to Listed winner Phil’s Magic.
