Son Of Mahler Returns With Game Win

Norvics Reflection (8g Mahler - Finallyfree, by Flemensfirth) overcame a notable absence to get off the mark in Wednesday’s maiden hurdle at Uttoxeter.

The Ben Case owned and trained bay was last seen finishing third in a similar contest more than two years ago and raced over two and a half miles on return. Making all under Harry Bannister, he was pushed along approaching the second last and ridden before the next. Digging deep close home, he denied the well-backed Irish raider by a head on the line.
