Son Of Maxios Eases Clear On Debut

Altobelli (4g Maxios - Atiana, by Samum) shaped like a useful type when justifying favouritism in Friday’s bumper at Exeter.

Harry Fry’s charge was held up at the back of the field by Bryan Carver and began to make headway from five furlongs out. Travelling well behind the leaders on the turn for home, he was shaken up to lead approaching the final furlong and went on to score by five and a half lengths.
