Seabank Bistro (Walk In The Park) wins the maiden hurdle at Naas

Son Of Walk In The Park To Target Albert Bartlett

Seabank Bistro (6g Walk In The Park - Sigh Of Relief, by Old Vic) will be aimed at the Albert Bartlett Novices’Hurdle after justifying favouritism in Sunday’s maiden hurdle at Naas.

Willie Mullins’ homebred made an impressive debut last season before finishing fourth in the Grade 1 Cheltenham Champion Bumper, and since placed on his first two starts over hurdles. Partnered by Paul Townend on Sunday, he raced prominently throughout and asserted approaching the final flight. Ridden out on the run-in, he beat Franciscan Rock (Fame And Glory) by two lengths and three quarters, with the pair finishing 12 lengths clear of the field.

“Seabank Bistro did it nicely,” the winning trainer and breeder later commented. “He jumps well and is more of a chaser. He could well go up in trip now and I imagine he will go to the Albert Bartlett”
