Future Prospect (Order Of St George) Wins On Debut At Castlelands

Another Smart Debut Winner By Order Of St George

Future Prospect (4m Order Of St George – Mhuire Na Gale, by Norwich) became Order Of St George’s second debut winner of the weekend when taking the four-year-old mares maiden at Lismore point-to-point.

Denis Murphy’s newcomer chased the leaders under Shane Cotter and produced a challenge after the second last. Asserting before the final fencer, she kept on well to score by four lengths.

Bred by Margaret Treacy, Future Prospect is a half-sister to Listed winner and Grade 2 performer Whitehotchillifili (Milan). She hails from the first crop of Order Of St George, whose son Buckna made an impressive debut at Kirkistown the previous day. The Castlehyde Stud sire is also represented by exciting prospect Mighty Bandit, who sold for €420,000 following his clear-cut success at Punchestown.
