Order Of St George Gelding Gets Up In The Nick Of Time

Tell The Tale (4g Order Of St George – A Touch Of Sparkle, by Golan) became the latest first crop winner by Order Of St George when striking late in the four-year-old maiden at Moig South.

Fourth on his sole start last season, the Sam Curling owned and trained gelding finished a close second on return last month. He raced prominently for much of the way on Sunday, but Rouban appeared to have the upper hand with a clear lead from two out. The Order Of St George gelding was not to be denied, and finished strongly on the run-in to get off the mark under Pa King.

He becomes the first winner bred by David Mitchell out of A Touch Of Sparkle.
