$675,000 In-Foal Mare For American Pharoah at Fasig-Tipton
After an exciting weekend at the races with his first crop, Triple Crown winner American Pharoah took his success to the sales ring when Just Talkin brought $675,000 in foal to the sire at the Fasig-Tipton November Sale on Tuesday night from Mountmellick Farm.
Consigned by Hill 'n' Dale, the mare is a full sister to multiple stakes winner Lady Shipman. Just Talkin added more blacktype to the page during her career with placings in five stakes races. Retired after a second place finish in a stakes this year, she is carrying her first foal to the Triple Crown winner.
Out of five-time winner Sumthingtotalkabt, Just Talkin is a granddaughter of stakes winning Nannetta, who is also the dam of stakes winning Rules of War and Grade III placed Nanogram.
Already having a brilliant first season at stud, leading First Season Sire American Pharaoh added even more major placings at the Breeders’ Cup on Friday when all three of his runners his the board including Grade II Juvenile Turf Sprint winner Four Wheel Drive.
