$775,000 Filly for American Pharoah During Keeneland Session Three
An American Pharoah half-sister to Justify’s Grade III winner Just Cindy was sold for $775,000 by breeder Clarkland Farm on Wednesday at Keeneland September as the fifth most expensive filly of the session.
Purchased by Tommy Town Thoroughbreds, she is the second foal out of the stakes winning Jenda’s Agenda. That mare is a half-sister to Munnings’ stakes winner Miss Alacrity and out of multiple graded stakes winner Just Jenda.
This is a loaded family with the names on the page including Uncle Mo’s champion and Grade I Kentucky Derby winner Nyquist, Grade I winner Sahara Sky, Grade II winner Seeking Regina, and more.
Through the first three sessions of the sale, American Pharoah’s yearlings have sold for $750,000, $725,000, $450,000, etc.
