Accomodate Eva (Munnings) wins the La Champions Day Lassie Stakes

Accommodate Eva Newest Stakes Winner for Munnings

Grade I Breeder’s Cup Juvenile Fillies runner Accommodate Eva (2f Munnings x Accomodate, by Pleasantly Perfect added a stakes victory to her record on Saturday when the filly won the Louisiana Champions Day Lassie Stakes.

Accommodate Eva had to deal with another rival bumping into her at the start of the six-furlong dirt race and settled into last while trying to recover. The short race saw Accommodate Eva have plenty to do as they raced into the stretch but she proved to be much the best among the runners.

Flying up the outside after altering course, she rallied strongly to take the lead in the final furlong and have three-quarters of a length on the second placed runner at the line.

It was the second victory and third top three finish for the Dallas Stewart-trained filly, who races in the colors of Valene Farms.

Out of Accomodate, the filly was bred by Brad King and Todd Fincher and is one of four stakes performers from seven winners out of her dam. That mare also produced the stakes placed trio of Hennessy Express, Hit a Lick, and Storming Back.

Standing for $75,000 in 2024, Munnings 15 stakes winners is fourth among all North American stallions with his 35 stakes performers second to only Into Mischief this year.
