Barkley Makes it Six Straight!

Talented colt Barkley (3c Munnings x Numero d’Oro, by Medaglia D’Oro) kept his unbeaten record intact when saluting in the $50,000 Seattle Slew Stakes at Emerald Downs on Sunday.

The Howard Belvoir trained chestnut had won his five previous races, all at Emerald Downs, and he kept the winning streak going to capture this 1 and 1/16^th mile feature by a head.

A modest $21,000 Keeneland September Yearling Sale purchase, Barkley has won over $120,000 in prizemoney and is the first winner for Numero D’Oro, an unraced daughter of stakes-winner Numero Uno.
