Coolmore America Announce fees for Practical Joke and Cupid
Practical Joke, winner of the G1 H. Allen Jerkens Stakes this year in addition to G1 wins in the Champagne Stakes and Hopeful Stakes as a two-year-old, will stand for a fee of $30,000 in 2018. Practical Joke is currently in training with Chad Brown and is targeting the G1 Cigar Mile Handicap on December 2nd.
Tapit’s G1 winning son Cupid will stand for a fee of $12,500 in 2018. Cupid was one of the leading three-year-olds of 2016 when he racked up three G2 victories and over $1,300,000 in earnings. Trained by Bob Baffert, Cupid added a G1 win to his CV this year with a win in the G1 Gold Cup at Santa Anita for which he earned a 108 Beyer Speed Figure. Cupid has arrived at Coolmore America’s Ashford Stud and is available for inspection at the Ashford Open House between the hours of 11am and 3pm this week.
