Exacta For Practical Joke In Chilean Stakes

It was another stakes win for a runner from Practical Joke’s first worldwide crop when Joke Sisi (2f Practical Joke x Lucky Sisi, by Lookin At Lucky) led home a 1-2 finish for her sire in Chile’s Listed Clasico Alberto Vial Letelier.

The seven furlong dirt race saw Joke Sisi take command soon after the gate with her jockey confidently handling her from the start. As other jockeys started to ask their mounts for their best, her’s just gave her some hand urging to keep her lead safe.

Practical Joke’s daughter Canada was the only horse within 9 ½ lengths of the winner at the end, sitting seven lengths behind the winner.

Trained by Juan Pablo Baeza for breeder Agricola Taomina Ltd., Joke Sisi undefeated in three starts with a win in the Group III Clasico Seleccion de Pontrancas as well.

The filly is out of Lookin At Lucky’s Group II winning daughter Lucky Sisi and comes from the family of Lookin At Lucky’s Group I winner Kurilov in addition to Scat Daddy’s Group I winner Kitcat and Knockout.

There are five Grade I winners under the filly’s third dam.

Practical Joke’s first crop has 13 stakes performers and eight stakes winners, led by four Grade III winners. Joke Sisi is the second stakes winner for Practical Joke in the past week with Wit winning the Grade III Bay Shore Stakes last Saturday.
