More Stakes Success for Veteran Munnings Sprinter

Prolific winner Wings Locked Up (7g Munnings x Sixteen Spices, by Capote) is still going strong in 2019 notching up another Black Type success when taking out the $75,000 Frontier Utilities Turf Sprint at Sam Houston Park on Sunday.

The Clinton Stuart trained speedster landed the five furlong sprint by a length and a quarter taking his overall record to 18 wins from 51 starts with prizemoney now in excess of $600,000.

Wings Locked Up is the best of five winners from unraced Sixteen Spices, a daughter of Grade III winner Notagoldbrick.
